For the first time since 2013, Central Virginia racing fans can bet the Kentucky Derby, and the newest Off Track Betting Center in Richmond will be celebrating in a big way!
Ponies & Pints, located at the former Tiki Bob’s Cantina in historic Shockoe Bottom, will not only welcome horseplayers to their 6,000 square foot facility. There will be a party in their parking lot — the official RVA Kentucky Derby Party. The bash will feature beer trucks, food trucks, a disc jockey all afternoon, a VIP experience, mint juelps, fancy hat contest, cornhole, large screen TV’s outside, betting stations, and lots more. There will be plenty of staff on hand to help newcomers make their Derby wagers.
Attendees are encouraged to wear the same “dress to impress” clothes you’d wear to Churchill Downs on the same day.
