Legendary Race Caller Roger Huston To Announce At Shenandoah Downs This Weekend

Legendary harness race caller Roger Huston will be announcing this Saturday and Sunday at Shenandoah Downs in Woodstock, VA!

Shenandoah will be the 137th track Roger has called races at in his storied career. He got his start in 1960 at a matinee in Wilmington, Ohio. “My uncle was calling the races that day and asked me to call a post parade so he could go to the bathroom,” recalled Huston. “I did the post parade and he never came back! The rest is history.”

Legendary race caller Roger Huston will bring his signature race calls to Shenandoah Downs this weekend in conjunction with the "Wine & Trotter" festival.
