2017 Shenandoah Downs Event/Promo Schedule

 *Racing every Saturday & Sunday from Sept. 16 – Oct. 15

*Gates open at 11 AM; first race is at 1 PM

Sat. September 16

Hops ‘n Hooves Craft Beer & Chili Festival. Sample craft beers and ciders all afternoon. Receive a custom sampling glass and a bowl of chili. Advance tickets – $15; Day Of – $20. Virginia Breeders’ Championship Races for 2 Year Olds – 4 races worth a combined $160,000!

Sat. September 23 

Food Truck Festival. We’ll have an assortment of food trucks out front by the party tent from 11 AM on. Enjoy lunch or a delicious snack before or during the races.

Virginia Breeders’ Championship Races for 3 Year Olds – 4 races worth a combined $160,000!

Sat. September 30

Wine & Trotter Festival & WINC Fancy Hat Contest. Sample wines from Virginia wineries & receive a souvenir sampling glass. Advance tickets – $15; Day Of – $20. Wear your most elegant or creative fancy hat — we’ll award prizes for the best!

Sat. October 7 

Seafest Seafood Festival – enjoy delicious seafood from some of the area’s top vendors beginning at 11 AM.

Sat. October 14 

Autumnfest. Includes Kansas City BBQ Society’s championship competition with over 40 BBQ teams, 25-plus craft brews & wines to sample, a cruise-in, crafters, log splitting competition, live music & more. Tickets at www.ShenandoahAutumnfest.com.
