Here are details and contest races for this Saturday’s event at the OTB inside Buckets Bar & Grill in Chesapeake. There are three major Kentucky Derby prep races on tap from Tampa Bay Downs, Santa Anita & Aqueduct and all will be included in the contest.
Contestants will make a selection in 8 different contests races and get a $2 mythical win/place wager on those selections. The contestants with the 5 highest mythical bankrolls will share in the $500 pool as follows:
1st – $250; 2nd – $125; 3rd – $60; 4th – $40; 5th – $25
Contest entries must be turned in by 3:45 PM and you do not have to be present to win once entries are turned in. All contest races will take place in a two hour window between 3:45 – 5:45 PM. Here are the 8 races:
Contest Race 1 – $100,000 Challenger Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs (3:45 PM)
Contest Race 2 – $225,000 Hillsborough Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs (4:20 PM)
Contest Race 3 – $150,000 Heavenly Prize Stakes at Aqueduct (4:40 PM)
Contest Race 4 – $200,000 Florida Oaks at Tampa Bay Downs (4:50 PM)
Contest Race 5 – $400,000 Frank Kilroe Mile Stakes at Santa Anita (5:00 PM)
Contest Race 6 – $400,000 Tampa Bay Derby at Tampa Bay Downs (5:20 PM)
Contest Race 7 – $400,000 San Felipe Stakes at Santa Anita (5:30 PM)
Contest Race 8 – $300,000 Gotham Stakes at Aqueduct (5:42 PM)
