We’re giving $500 in cash away Saturday March 24th to the top handicappers in our monthly free “Pick The Horses” contest, slated for Breakers Sports Grille at 9127 W. Broad Street in Richmond’s west end. Fair Grounds hosts a key Derby prep — the $1 Million Louisiana Derby (Gr. 2). Just stop by any time before 3:45 PM and fill out an entry!
Contestants will make a selection in 8 different contests races — 6 of the 8 will be at Fair Grounds since they have many stakes races scheduled that day! The other 2 will be a stakes at Oaklawn and one at Gulfstream. Players will get a $2 mythical win/place wager on those selections. The contestants with the 5 highest mythical bankrolls will share in the $500 pool as follows:
1st – $250; 2nd – $125; 3rd – $60; 4th – $40; 5th – $25
Final contest races are: Races 6 – 11 at Fair Grounds; Race 9 at Oaklawn; Race 12 at Gulfstream.
