Over six consecutive Saturdays in February and March, racing fans will be able to participate in a series of free handicapping contests at Virginia’s Off Track Betting (OTB)Centers where $1,000 in cash prizes will be doled out at each!
There are four OTBs in the state — Breakers Sports Grille is in Henrico, Ponies & Pints is in Richmond, Buckets Bar & Grill is in Chesapeake and The Windmill OTB Sports Grill is in Collinsville/Martinsville.
On contest days, horseplayers can stop by a participating site and fill out a free contest entry between 11 AM – 3 PM. They will select a horse to win in 8 different contest races and the five players that accumulate the highest mythical bankroll will win $500 – $250 – $125 – $75 and $50 respectively.

Saturday March 9th – at Breakers Sports Grille (on Tampa Bay Derby, Gotham, San Felipe and Ruby’s Steaks Stakes Day!
Saturday March 16th – at Buckets Bar & Grill
Saturday March 23rd – at The Windmill OTB Sports Grill AND Ponies & Pints
