All four Virginia Bets OTBs will simulcast three races from Dubai between 11:20 AM – 12:40 PM including the $12 Million Dubai World Cup. Gulfstream Park hosts the $1 Million Florida Derby — one of the top prep races for the May 4th Kentucky Derby —along with a stakes filled under card. They also have a guaranteed payout of the Rainbow 6 pool the same day, which could be in the millions of dollars. And Santa Anita is back with a big five stakes program including the Grade I Beholder.
The OTB at Breakers Sports Grill in Richmond adds another element to an already great race day. Fans can participate in a free handicapping contest where $1,000 in cash will be shared by the top five finishers. Fill out a free entry between 11 AM – 3 PM. Participants will select a horse to win in 8 different contest races. They will get a mythical $2 win/place wager on their selections. Contestants with the five highest bankrolls will share the pot in this manner: $500 – $250 – $125 – $75 – $50.
