Scenes From The March 14 Warrenton Hunt At Airlie Racecourse

The Warrenton Hunt Point-to-Point was held Saturday March 14 at the Airlie Racecourse. It followed the Rappahannock Hunt March 7. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, Warrenton’s meet was the final one this spring — the balance have been cancelled. Meets had been scheduled every weekend in March and April.

Full Time Party won the Amateur Novice & Rider Timber.
Brevard Place (left) captured one of the two Maiden Hurdle events.
Be Somebody (middle) won the Amateur/Rider Hurdle.
Just Wait and See was best in the Springs Valley Open Timber.
Second Ammendment went on to win the three mile Novice Timber.
Airlie Steeplechase Open Hurdle winner Orchestra Leader shows the way.
Drapers Guild won the 1 1/2 miles Novice Flat.
Julie Nafe and Gun Lobby prevailed in the Viola T. Winmill Sidesaddle Chase Cup.
Curve of Stones was best in the $2,000 Virginia-Bred, Sired or Certified Flat
Front runner Belisarius went on to win the Open Flat.
