Thanks to everyone who participated in the August 12th “6-Pick” handicapping contest at the Ponies & Pints OTB in Richmond. Joe Rivera, who drove up from Collinsville to participate, won $100 for compiling the highest mythical bankroll and another $100 for selecting 5 out of 6 winners. Ponies & Pints regular Robert Cooke (pictured here) won $75 for finishing second in the bankroll hierarchy. Ronald Franco, who drove from Maryland, finished third and Clarence Moss was fourth.
The next contest in Chesapeake is on Sunday August 19th at the Buckets Bar & Grill OTB in Great Bridge. Over $1,500 will be on the line!
Come in and fill out an entry between 11 AM – 3:15 PM. You’ll be asked to select a horse in races 5-10 at Saratoga. Contestants with the 4 highest mythical bankrolls will share $250. Anybody that pics all 6 races correctly will win $1,300! If nobody hits all 6 winners, we’ll still award $100 to the person(s) that select the MOST winners.
*The “6-Pick” is a FREE Handicapping contest played every Sunday from July 1 – September 16
*The weekly contest will rotate between 4 Virginia Bets OTBs in Richmond, Henrico, Chesapeake & Collinsville
*Two ways to win, with an exciting carryover pool aspect
It’s Easy To Play:
*Pick a horse to win in 6 contest races each Sunday at Saratoga)
*Contestants will receive a mythical $2 Win/Place contest bet on that selection
*Players will receive a free race program from the contest track
* Play the for the highest bankroll — $250 will be shared by contestants with the 4 highest mythical bankrolls ($100-$75-$50-$25)
*Play to be perfect — $1300 will be shared by contestants that correctly pick 6 out of 6 winners. f nobody picks 6 out of 6, $100 will be paid out to the contestant that selects the most winners that day.
