On Saturday January 19th, area horse racing fans can participate in a free handicapping contest at Ponies & Pints with $1,000 in cash prizes up for grabs! The event culminates a two-day second anniversary celebration at the site. Friday’s (January 18th) activities include a free appetizer buffet from 4-7 PM, $500 in betting voucher drawings throughout the day, and free track programs will be available all day/evening.
In order to play Saturday’s contest, simply fill put an entry between 11 AM – 3 PM that day and pick a winning horse in eight different contest races. The contestants that accumulate the five highest mythical bankrolls from those selections will win $500 – $250 – $125 – $75 – $50 respectively.
