The 4th annual harness racing season at Shenandoah Downs in Woodstock is in full swing now! Action continues every Friday at 3:30 PM and Saturday at 2:00 PM thru October 13. Pacers and trotters compete in ten races each day and wagering is available on all — win, place, show, exacta, trifecta and superfecta betting is offered at manned teller stations and at self betting terminals.

On Saturday October 5, the VHHA is sponsoring the most unique event of the meet — an “Own a Horse For a Day” promotion. 8 lucky fans will be drawn on the 5th to own a horse, for a short period of time! They will get to meet their horse, driver and trainer in the barn area before the race, get pictures taken with the connections, then best of all — keep the purse money their horse earns in a $4,000 race!
Racing continues thru October 13 in the scenic Shenandoah Valley.
