A trio of non-betting steeplechase races will precede the regular pari-mutuel flat card on Monday August 10. They will be contested at 3:30, 4:00 and 4:30 PM and will be available via streaming at nationalsteeplechase.com.
On Sunday August 2 — the first day jump races were held at Colonial this meet — winners included A Silent Player, The Happy Giant and Go as You Please.
Once the August 10 card is over, the final three Mondays of the Colonial summer season — August 17, 24 and 31 — will feature a pair of non-betting jump events headlined by the $35,000 Randolph D. Rouse Stakes on the 31st.
