The spring Point-to-Point season in Virginia is nearing an end, and there are just two more chances to enjoy the action.
On Easter Sunday, April 21st, the Blue Ridge Hunt Point-to-Point takes place with five races scheduled between 1:30 – 4:10 PM. The Woodley Farms in Berryville plays host to the action. Fans will see a $2,000 Virginia-Bred/Sired Flat, two Maiden Flats, a Maiden Hurdle and an Amateur/Novice Rider Hurdle event.
Here are some rules attendees should adhere to: pets must be on a leash, no glass containers allowed an no selling of alcoholic beverages is allowed.
This year, in addition to the races, we will have an Easter Egg Hunt and Antique Car Show. And, the Nantucket Beagles will be on parade.
The Blue Ridge Hunt has partnered with L’Auberge Provençale to make tailgate picnic baskets available. Call L’Auberge (540) 837-1375) to place your order. They will be ready for pick up on race day at the Blue Ridge Hunt Tent.

The seventh and final spring Point-to-Point is scheduled for Sunday April 28th. The Middleburg Hunt Point-to-Point will take place at Glenwood Park beginning at 1:00 PM.
