The Foxfield Races are now operated by a new entity, Foxfield Racing LLC. This is a community based group dedicated to the preservation of open spaces and land conservation, continuing the tradition of steeplechase racing in Virginia and a dedicated effort to support charitable groups in our community.
Covid-19 caused the cancellation of the spring races but if the Governor permits, we are planning to run the fall races under Covid-19 restrictions as defined by Virginia’s health guidance. This will include restrictions on the number of parking spaces that can be occupied, the wearing of facemasks, and maintaining social distancing.
Please save the date for the fall races, October 4, 2020! As soon as we get clearance from the Commonwealth, our parking spaces will go on-sale in August.
