The third leg of thoroughbred racing’s Triple Crown — the Belmont Stakes — is scheduled for Saturday June 5 at Belmont Park! Preakness winner Rombauer has already shipped to Belmont after winning at Pimlico Racecourse May 15.
There may not be a horse going for the Triple Crown this year, but Belmont Park is presenting an amazing 8 Grade I stakes for horseplayers that afternoon. In addition to the Belmont itself, fans can wager the $1 million Metropolitan, $750,000 Manhattan, $500,000 Ogden Phipps, $500,000 Acorn, $500,000 Longines Just a Game, $400,000 Woody Stephens and $400,000 Jackpocket Jaipur.
Post time for the Belmont is 6:45 PM and NBC will provide coverage starting at 4 PM.
