Virginia-Bred Stakes Day at Colonial Downs

The 2021 Colonial Downs thoroughbred racing season will finish out in grand form with a series of events closing week — a Secretariat Foundation fundraiser on Monday August 30, Virginia Derby Day on Tuesday August 31, and Virginia-Bred/Sired Stakes Day on Wednesday September 1.

Five $100,000 stakes will take place on that final day. The Edward P. Evans, Jamestown, Punch Line, Camptown and Brookmeade Stakes will all be contested on what surely will be an exciting day to watch and wager the action in New Kent.

The final day of racing at Colonial Downs will be Virginia-Bred/Sired Stakes Day on Wednesday September 1 at 1:45 PM.
