Shenandoah Downs heads into its third weekend of pari-mutuel harness racing in Woodstock, Virginia on Saturday September 24th and Sunday September 25th, and a new festival featuring craft beers and award winning chili will complement the trotting and pacing action.
In addition to exiting finishes over the newly renovated half mile oval, the Hops ‘n Hooves Craft Beer & Chili Festival will take place on the grounds September 24th. Tickets are $20 and include 10 beer tastings, chili tastings and a souvenir tasting glass. You can save $4 by purchasing tickets on line in advance at www.shenandoahdowns.com.
A $10 “racing only” admission will be available for harness fans that day, and special added value items are included with each entry. The package includes a $5 betting voucher, a Shenandoah Downs racing program and a souvenir gift (choice of t-shirt or baseball cap). Gates open at 11 AM; harness races begin at 1 PM and the festival will conclude at 5 PM.
