Timmy White, Virginia Horseman Passes Away

Arthur Timothy White of Middleburg, Virginia, passed away on September 25th, 2016. Lovingly known as Timmy, he was born on October 12, 1955, the son of Arthur Ridgley White and Mary Wentworth Davy White.

Timmy attended the Hill School and The Phelps School. Timmy’s love for animals but especially horses was born from watching his father and Grandfather, Arthur John White train horses. Timmy pursued animal husbandry and spent his career training both flat and steeplechase racehorses.

With his dog in tow, Timmy will be remembered for working in his barn at the Middleburg Training Center. He loved spending time with his family, enjoyed working on tack, and caring for his sheep.

He leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Alix Liebel White, his sons, Sean and Patrick, his daughter-in laws, Michele and Sarah and his granddaughter, Lillian.

Timmy was a horseman through and through and his love of animals and people will long be remembered by those that he touched throughout his lifetime.
