Horseplayers will enjoy a mid-summer feast of stakes races Saturday July 15th, including the $200,000 Los Alamitos Derby (Gr. 3), which was just added to the lineup. Best of luck to Virginia-bred Queen Caroline, whom will compete in Saturdays $100,000 Indiana General Assembly Distaff Stakes, part of the Indiana Derby under card at Indiana Grand Racecourse. The 4 year old Blame filly is fresh off a victory in the $75,000 Nellie Mae Cox Stakes June 24th. Out of the Forestry mare, Queens Plaza, Queen Caroline was bred by Morgan’s Ford Farm and is owned by Virginian Amy Moore.
