Scenes From the Sept. 12 Old Dominion Hounds Point-to-Point Races

The Old Dominion Hounds Point-to Point Races were held at the Ben Venue Farm, located north of Warrenton, on Saturday September 12. This was a rescheduled event from spring that was a Covid-related cancellation.

The Blue Ridge Point-to-Point is scheduled for Saturday September 19 at the Woodley Farm in Berryville. First post is 12:30 PM. Nine races are on tap including the featured $2,000 Virginia-Bred/Sired Flat. For information, call 540-636-0500. Entries are at centralentryoffice.com.

Three sactioned steeplechase events are scheduled in Virginia this fall. The Foxfield Races (outside of Charlottesville) are slated for Sunday October 4 followed by the Middleburg Fall Races on Saturday October 10 and the International Gold Cup card at Great Meadow on Saturday October 24.
