Last Sunday the first group of “Own-a-Horse” winners came to Shenandoah Downs and had an opportunity to meet their very own horses, drivers, and trainers! The event allows people who have never been around racehorses to not only get a feel for the industry and see the backside, but also to win their horse’s share of the purse! The next opportunity to come to the track and enter in the contest is this Saturday and Sunday, September 23 and 24. The fan favorite promotion will continue to run throughout the Fall meet, which runs every Saturday and Sunday until October 9th at Shenandoah Downs.
