Celebrate the one year anniversary of Off Track Betting’s return to Chesapeake. Join in Friday December 7th and Saturday December 8th at Buckets Bar & Grill in the Great Bridge neighborhood for a two day celebration.
On Friday, we’ll have a free appetizer buffet from 4-7 PM as a thank you to racing fans for making Buckets such a great success. There will be hourly prize drawings from 1-10 PM for a $50 betting voucher and we’ll have free past performance programs from the most popular tracks available for free all day and evening!
On Saturday, we’ve got a free “Pick The Horses” handicapping contest on tap and $1,000 cash is on the line. The five contestants that accumulate the highest mythical bankrolls will share $1,000 ($500-$250-$1235-$75-$50). Featured track is Gulfstream, which will host a stakes filled Caribbean Classic card. How does 11 stakes in one program sound at the South Florida oval??!! Everyone will receive a free Gulfstream program as well.
Los Alamitos will host a pair of Grade I stakes on Saturday as well — the $300,000 Starlet and $300,000 CashCall Futurity. Fair Grounds presents their annual state-bred event with seven $100,000 stakes. Laurel also has a solid card with a trio of stakes on tap.
Buckets is located at 228 N. Battlefield Boulevard in the Great Bridge section of Chesapeake. It is in the Battlefield Shopping Center (on the right hand side as you approach the drawbridge/locks).
