Make plans to attend the 20th running of the Grade 3 New Kent County Virginia Derby — now with a $500,000 purse — on Saturday September 9! The country’s top three-year-old turf horses and the sport’s best jockeys and trainers will compete in one of the Commonwealth’s top annual horse races.
Five under card stakes will complement the Derby including the $250,000 Virginia Oaks, $150,000 Da Hoss Stakes, $150,000 Colonial Cup, $125,000 Exacta System Rosie’s Stakes, $125,000 Kitten’s Joy Stakes.
